Junior & Senior High (Grades 6-12)
Experience a week filled with a variety of engaging ranch activities along with caring counselors and staff.
- Explore the prairie on horseback
- Hike and explore the mini-badlands

Week in the Saddle (Grades 9-12)
This Week For Experienced Riders Only
Join us for a Week in the Saddle June 27 – July 2. This Program is just what the name implies: a week in the saddle. This week is for experienced riders only! Spend an intense week on the high plains - camping under the stars, riding horses, studying the Bible, and getting to know your fellow campers in a smaller group setting. Each day’s activities will include:
- Exploring new sites around Klein on horseback
- Setting up camp for the night and diving in to our Bible Encounters
- Cooking ‘cowboy style’ over a campfire
- Worshiping each evening and sleeping out under a canopy of stars
Remember, for experienced riders with variety of horse riding experiences! Space is limited so sign up soon.

Cowgirl Up (Grades 7-12) - Girls Only
This one’s for the girls! We’ll be hanging out on the ranch July 11th -16th, riding horses and growing through fun female fellowship. Relax with your Sisters in Christ, and gain confidence through your interactions with the staff, the horses, and all of the other critters at the Ranch. Nail polish is not required. Saddle up and get ready to ride! Yee-haww!

Home on the Range (Grades 5-6 with Adult)
Have you ever seen “where the deer and the antelope play...”? Come to Klein and experience life on South Dakota’s unique western prairie. This program offers a chance for 5th and 6th graders, along with an adult to have fun on the ranch. Ride horse, go for a hike, worship under the stars, share in community, explore your faith together, and much more. (Cost includes child and adult.)

Service in the Saddle (Grades 9-12)
Saddle up and take action to make a difference in our world. Spend a week with us, growing through Christian service while traveling to local communities on the Standing Rock Reservation.
WIT - Wrangler in Training (Grades 10-12)
This program gives you a chance to shadow and train with a qualified wrangler, assisting with all aspects of working with horses. Supervise saddling, rides, tack and care of the animals. Come June 21-26 then register for your second and third weeks when you arrive at camp. Limited to 7 people.
CIT - Counselor in Training (Grades 10-12)
Come to Klein for CIT training. Challenge yourself as a leader and grow in your walk with Christ.
- One week of training covers the basic camp and counseling skills
- Return for a second and third week to work side-by-side with staff
Klein Ranch Staff Alumni Week
This week, we invite former Klein Ranch staff to come and see what’s happening at camp. Here’s your chance to reminisce and make new memories. Horse around with former staff from all walks of life, show your families why camp is so great and enjoy relaxing at your favorite Klein Ranch sites.
