Advent Festival

The prophet Isaiah writes, “A voice cries out in the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord!”
Please join us in the very comfortable wilderness of Outlaw Ranch for an Advent festival weekend, December 5-7. We will begin Friday night at 6:30 with a huge table of snacks, cider, hot chocolate, and, of course, cookies, followed by games, singing, worship, and then more eating.
On Saturday, we will do crafts, dip candles, make Advent wreaths, visit the animals at the stable, and play outside, weather permitting–sledding or gaga ball or both! We will have a Christmas tree cutting expedition (we will get the permit for you!), hayrides, and then go to the parade of lights in Custer. Kids are welcome to ride on Outlaw’s float in the parade! We will return to a late supper of soup and bread and a candlelight worship.
Sunday will include brunch and worship with Holy Communion. Come with your children and grandchildren for this time of rest, singing, shopping (who doesn’t want an Outlaw Ranch sweatshirt and jar of hot chocolate mix?!), and fellowship in the quiet winter beauty of the Black Hills.
Weekend includes a 2-night stay, 5 meals, and all program activities and supplies. Tree permits $10 extra.
