Sunday evening through Tuesday lunch

Even Jesus and the disciples took an occasional day off to retreat and regroup. Rostered and lay church leaders come together each fall for some renewal at Outlaw. The agenda is planned by the president of the Bear Butte Conference and includes worship, program, business meeting, collegial support, and relaxation. The group gathers in the morning and the evening; afternoons are open for you to explore the Hills, rest, read, visit, and recharge your spirit in this quiet place.

Full Retreat:  Sunday evening through Tuesday lunch.

Commuter:  Sunday evening through Tuesday lunch.

A la Carte options available.

Pricing:

The lodge/barn and commuter rates listed are based on staying the full length of the retreat.

Lodge or Barn Retreat Center: $162
Includes two nights lodging, two breakfasts, two lunches, one supper, a snack, and programming. 

Commuter Rate: $84
Includes two breakfasts, two lunches, one supper, a snack, and programming. 

Payments are made at Outlaw Ranch during the retreat.

2026 Fall Quilting Dates:

Weekend 1: October 30 – November 1:

Two nights, three-day stay beginning Friday morning and ending Sunday afternoon. Meals include Friday dinner, Saturday brunch, snack, and dinner, and Sunday brunch. (Add-ons available)

Weekend 2: November 13-15:

Two nights, three-day stay beginning Friday morning and ending Sunday afternoon. Meals include Friday dinner, Saturday brunch, snack, and dinner, and Sunday brunch. (Add-ons available)

Weekend 3: November 20-22:

Two nights, three-day stay beginning Friday morning and ending Sunday afternoon. Meals include Friday dinner, Saturday brunch, snack, and dinner, and Sunday brunch. (Add-ons available)

Thursday Night Add-on

If you would like to come early, Thursday night add-on option is available. The Thursday night add-on allows you to come in Thursday morning and quilt, have supper, and keep quilting until Friday morning, when the weekend retreat begins.

Note:  Please RSVP for add-on stays by the Monday before your weekend.

  • $175 Cabin
  • $125 Commuter

Add-ons (cost is per night):
Lodge/Barn Retreat Center – $85, Cabin – $75, Commuter – $55:  Includes dinner and brunch the next morning.
