NeSoDak

What you need to know.

We can’t wait to welcome you!

As you prepare for a faith-filled experience at NeSoDak, here are some tips and information to assist in the process. Medical information and scholarship forms are submitted online to assure security and privacy. To fill out the health information, please log-in to your registration account (at the button below.) More fun and helpful information is found below. Please contact us if you have any questions about your camper’s faith experience.

Please know that your camper’s safety and faith development is our chief concern. Our goal is for each camper to have fun, grow in leadership, develop and nurture friendships, and strengthen their faith. We promise to do all we can to make that happen. Please call with any questions you have about this faith-filled adventure. And thank you for sharing your precious child and time with us.

Summer Staff

While at NeSoDak, we are blessed to have excellent young leaders sharing their faith. Campers will be part of a cabin group with a counselor always present. Grace-filled Christian community, friendship, and teamwork are emphasized. Active Bible study, creative devotions, and worship leadership opportunities are included as part of daily faith nurturing. Our year-round staff will also be present throughout the week providing leadership to our summer staff. They can be reached at 605-947-4440

Housing

Depending on camp program, campers will find themselves spending time at camp in either our 10- cabins or in the Sorensen Lodge. All week-long youth campers will spend their time in cabins, while intergenerational campers will spend their time in the Sorensen Lodge or cabins.

Arrival/Departure

Arrival: Check-in is 4 pm. Please wait to arrive until that time as our staff will be preparing for your arrival prior to registration. Drop-off locations will be by program group. Camp staff will guide families to the correct location upon arrival.

Departure/Closing Worship: Our time comes to a close with closing worship at 11 am on your final day of camp. Families are invited and encouraged to attend. On good weather days, closing worship will be outside at the campfire ring.

Camp Store

Campers will have an opportunity to purchase food, drinks and souvenirs at the camp store each day. T-shirts, sweatshirts and other clothing range in price from $12-$35. Campers will set up a canteen account during check-in. The camp store will be open daily at set times. Money can be sent with campers, either cash or check, or you can deposit funds in their account on-line. All funds should be added by noon on the Monday of a camp week. Accounts will be updated each time the camp store is open, ONLY IN THE CAMP STORE, however the online account information will be updated AT THE END OF THE CAMP WEEK. If campers have remaining funds, the remainder of their balance will be returned at the beginning of the next week through credit card. If campers bring cash or check- the remainder of that balance will be given to campers before they leave. The store will also be open following closing worship on the last day of the camp session for families and friends to enjoy.
